CHARLOTTETOWN, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 — The Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Prince Edward Island has cancelled public hearings that were scheduled to take place in Elmsdale, Summerside, Morell and Hunter River. The commission will hold a public hearing in Charlottetown on October 11, 2012, as planned.
The Prince Edward Island Commission is holding the public hearing to gather opinions on its proposal for the new federal electoral map that was released on August 9, 2012.
