Calgary, Thursday, September 6, 2012 — The Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Alberta has cancelled the public hearing that was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the Travelodge in Strathmore.
Individuals who had given notice of their intention to make a representation have been advised and will participate in hearings at other venues.
The Alberta Commission is holding public hearings to gather opinions on its proposal for the new federal electoral map that was released on July 5, 2012.
