Timmins—Cochrane—James Bay – Proposed Boundaries

Consisting of:

  • (a) that part of the Territorial District of Kenora lying easterly of a line described as follows: commencing at the northeast corner of the most northerly point of the Territorial District of Thunder Bay (Albany River); thence due north to the northerly boundary of the Province of Ontario;
  • (b) the Territorial District of Cochrane; and
  • (c) that part of the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying easterly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the northerly limit of said territorial district with Highway No. 11; thence generally southeasterly along said highway to its intersection with the northerly boundary of the Township of Chamberlain; thence easterly and southerly along the northerly and easterly boundaries of said township to the northerly boundary of the Township of Evanturel; thence easterly and southerly along the northerly and easterly boundaries of said township to the northerly boundary of the Township of Hilliard; thence easterly along the northerly boundary of said township and the northerly boundary of the Township of Brethour to the easterly boundary of the Province of Ontario.
